 Fw: PSP Value Pack . Who wouldn't want a Sony PSP. They are sensational devices. Not only can you play console games but you can watch DVDs, use them to download video onto and they are fully wifi enabled so you can surf the net wirelessly. However PSP Value Pack is the subject header of the latest email hoax doing the rounds. Sometimes it's PSP GIVEAWAY The email promises you a free PSP value pack if you forward the email to 20 of your friends. Here is the actual text of the email.
Dear all
Sony is giving away PSP consoles "FREE"!! Sony is trying word-of-mouth
advertising to introduce its products. And the reward you receive for
advertising for them is a PSP free of cost!
To receive your free PSP all you need to do is send this email out to 20
people for a PSP value pack (see attached picture).
Within 2 weeks you will receive a free PSP!
(They contact you via your email address).

| Basically this is just a rehash of the old Bill Gates hoax that circulated around the Net about six years ago. In that hoax everyone was promised $1000! There is no way to track a normal email that is sent out from a standard email client like Outlook. If you type the first sentance of this email "Dear all Sony is giving away PSP consoles "FREE"!! " into Google you will find one of the first sites that comes up is Sony Playstation South Africa where the hoax seems to originate from. They quickly label the email as a hoax and urge you to not forward the email. You can read their response to the PSP GIVEAWAY, FREE PSP Value Pack
